My 6 months journey

It was March 9, 2009 when I started scratching my skin. It was really an itching one. It might be because of the pants that I am wearing on that day. I ultimately scratch and scratch until I notice my skin particularly in gluteus region become red and swell. The next day, March 10, same year, I ate fried chicken as my lunch. In that evening, I noticed there were blisters in the gluteus maximus area. I scratched it until it spreads up. I put some alcohol, ointment just to be relieved.  However, my mom said, it might be just part of being pregnant. The reality is I have pregnancy rashes.

The lesions spread out each day. I consulted to my doctor of allergy about this matter. She either could not tell what these blisters that pump out in my skin are. She was also afraid because I am pregnant. She just gave me benadryl tablet, 25 mg and cetaphil liquid soap. I took the medicine for one week and use the liquid soap daily or as often as I needed. The first lesions healed while there are some were still about to come out. It’s like an army assailing to any part of the area where the assailants are.

Yesterday, March 24, 2009.  I forgot to avoid eating a fried chicken but eventually I did. Consequently, it triggers its itchiness. I took a bath and put some powder. Then, I asked my husband to hold my belly. As he touched my belly, his palm was warm giving me a comfort of joy. You know what happen? It pays a lot. I was relieved by his touch. I told him to talk to baby which sometimes he seldom did. I explain to him that our baby really longs for his touch and voice. Then, he asked sorry to our baby who is serenely resting in my womb.
