Last Sunday August 16, me and my husband went to SM Cebu Northwing to participate the “Make your own Havaianas, it was opened last August 14 and runs until August 17, 2009. The theme was about pop art using pin designs ranging from lomo cameras, vintage tellies, vibrant jeepneys and ice cream carts to other lifestyle frills. For my creativity, I choose black havaianas top and metallic light golden strap, for the pin designs I suppose to choose the word “pinoy” but then it is no longer available for there are lots of people flock to the place just to be part of this one of the lifetime big event. I settled for a vinta design. Vinta is a traditional boat found in the Philippine island of Mindanao. Aside from vinta, I also choose flower pin and white and light rose crystal swarovski. It costs me a bucks around Php 1, 119. However, I don’t mind since the quality of the product is really effective, efficient and stylish.
