My Office Life

The job I am currently in is very relaxing. I love the atmosphere and my co-employees, they are very fun and friendly. We often talk and laugh, we share ideas and help each other to solve issues. After work, we eat our lunch together and bond a little bit. But of course, we wash our own dish. And the last one who finish eating will be the one to clean the stainless steel sinks LOL!

After everything is done, we’ll go home together. This is my first to have a job and I am very lucky to have it.

Breast feeding, is it important?

I gave an activity to my students last month about breastfeeding and bottle feeding. I let them interview their mother whether they were given a breast milk or formulated milk, how important breastfeeding and they will describe their relationship with their mother. I am surprise with their answers. Some of them were bottle feed while others were breast feed. In terms of relationship, it is really true that there is strong attachment of mother and child relationship. They were very close and how healthy they were. They were free from sickness and they achieve academically. Those students who were bottle feed reveals that they were not close to their mom, they got sick often.

I can’t imagine how will be my relationship with my baby. But I do believe no matter the baby is bottle feed or breastfeed, it will depend on how she was raised by her parents and the influence of her environment. For now, let us just cross the bridge when we get there.

A reward to himself

Last Saturday, we went to istore at SM Cebu to buy an ipods. However, our budget is not enough for two ipods. So, we just buy one. My hubby reward himself as he buys an ipod touch. He bought this through his online earnings. He worked as full time application programmer and a part-time web developer. He used to convert psd to wordpress. He really works hard just to provide us our needs. He had lots of sleepless night for his client are mostly from other countries. I really pitied on him specially if he lacks of rest. I am upset about his health.

When he said he will buy an ipod touch, I totally supports what he wants to buy. I told him that you have also to reward yourself for all the hard work you’ve done. He was very happy after he got one. He can’t get away from his ipod. He is not used to take notes and play games but with his new ipod, he is very diligent and curious to use it.

Here is the photo which I took when we buy the ipod .

Reward for myself at Gallery Korean Hair Salon

Last Monday April 12 of this year, I gave a reward for myself which is ” Hair make-over”. I together with Abcill and Helda went to Gallery, a Korean hair specialist salon.

I used to have a wavy hair which I do like I just wanted to keep it that way. So, I decided not to have a hair rebond but instead I settled for hair cellophane. Only that day that I was educated that in “hair cellophane”, it has a color. I thought it just make your hair glossy.  I was really curious about it, so I search online what is this hair cellophane. Here is the result of my search.

The “cellophane” treatment being referred to is actually a semi-permanent color service that uses no pigment in the hair color formula. Instead clear glossing agents are used which get deposited into the hair adding substance and shine by filling and plumping the shaft and sealing the cuticle layer. The result is hair that looks healthier and shinier, and feels silkier than before. It also makes the natural color more vibrant and lush by increasing the light refraction due to the shine.

After that treatment, my hair become silkier and smoother. The dryness was gone. I used to rolled my hair and tangled it each other and it doesn’t fall off. But now, when I rolled it and tangled it, it falls off. So, it means that my hair now is shinny and healthy. I’m happy with the result.

For sure, I will be back at Gallery by June for a new me. Ops., by the way here are the prices of their services.
