Make-up artist to the Rescue

January 17 was the celebration of Sinulog Festival in Cebu City, Philippines. Our group Lumad Basakanon was one of the contingents in Free Interpretation category. Before the said event came, I experience lots of problems. These are tonsillitis, cough, colds, acne and deark circles under eyes. I didn’t understand that why do I have all these health problems. This may be because of stress of the up coming event for we had nightly practices and ends about 12 midnight or 1:00 am. Moreover, pressure in my profession. 

So as the big event came, I really worried about my face, the acne and dark circles under my eyes. I am just so blessed that my co- dancer , make up artist and a good friend, Jerome knows as how to hide it. So, he really saves the day. I am so happy that those entire problems are not visible in cameras. Kudos! Jerome!!

Long Lost Friend

I had a bestfriend in elementary. She was really a good friend. She really shared what she hhad like food, clothes, accessories and even she gave me money. After graduation, I haven’t seen her for her family moved in Cagayan de Oro. We haven’t communicated for more than fifteen yeats,I ddin’t know what happened to her, whether she got married, graduated in college, able to have a stbale job, really don’t have an idea. Until I suddenly it just came into my mind to search her in internet so I quickly  I searched her name in the facebook . I am so glad that I finally found her.

We chatted for about 2 hours. We were talking about our life, profession and dreams.  Knowing her situation today, I am so happy to know that she was now practicing a doctor. She mentioned about the benefits of colon cleansing for she underwent that treatment. I am so excited to see her in person. We will meet this coming Saturday. I can’t wait that day to come.

Now I would say I finally found my long lost friend.
