Since I knew that I was pregnant, I never tried in driving. I waited the time that I will gave birth so I could drive my car. However, it happened that my driver’s license was already expired. Consequently, I didn’t drove since then for if I break the rule, I will be paying a penalty.

Ever since I drive a car, I carefully inspected everything before I go such as the water gauge, fuel tank, tires, license, CR , OR and the copy of car insurance. These are all necessary things that should be prepared for you will not know what will it takes if one will be left out. Talking about insurance, I only knew that time that having a car, one should have a car insurance. There is insurance for the car and the people were in the car. My mother process everything about it for I didn’t know on how to deal with it. But since I am a person who is very curious, I search online about cheap car insurance quote. I learned some many things which I know it is useful for me the moment I will have my own car for I am just using my mother’s car. Now, at least I know what to do.

A friend of mine told me once ” Time will come that I will be working aboard”. I didn’t believe on him because he is so lazy. He is irresponsible. He just contented to wait for the luck that comes in his way. Until such time, I just heard that he flew bound to US and work there. When he came back last year, he narrated that he almost failed in the test and almost doesn’t have a slot. However, due to his credentials specifically bpi certification, his employer impressed him so much consequently, he good a job.

Last Tuesday, our group Lumad Basakanon had a meeting. The agenda of the meeting were about our bookings and victory party. Before the meeting started, my co- dancers were amazed with my figure. They were asking if I am taking fat burner or any remedies that I applied or performed. They even told me that it would have been great if I had that body during the Sinulog Festival. I just simply told them that walking up and down the stairs makes me slimmer and looks great.

After that conversation, I went to the choreographer’s house and played “Plant versus Zombies”. After one hour of waiting, we finally started the meeting.

Crown Regency is one of the five star hotels here in Cebu City, Philippines. This the only hotel that offers an international way of rides such as edge coaster and sky walking. So when they had this promo which is free ride, I grab that opportunity. I instantly fill out the form. According to the one who is in charge, they will just call me. So, I just waited that time to come.

The time has come. They called me last February 8. They informed me that I lucky to have the free gift certificate courtesy of Crown Regency Cebu. I am so happy to know all of this. Then, they ask my personal information for confirmation. These queries are my job, spouse name and salary. After hearing the a sound salary, they gave me a schedule as to when we will visit the hotel. A very enticing last word that I couldn’t forget. “Mam, just forget your money but never your identification card and your spouse for everything in here is for free”. Wow! I was so excited to inform crash about this.

The day after that talk was the scheduled date of tour at Crown Regency and Club Ultima. It was just an annoying one that we haven’t took pictures of all the things that we had seen in that place for our digital camera acted up. After that comprehensive tour, I really told my husband that one of these days we should stay in this hotel and try the edge coaster and sky walking. We didn’t recognized that we were not eaten our dinner so we went to Mc Donalds and dine there.

My clan’s needs

I was born and raised in a low class family. My kin’s in both sides are really experiencing destitution. This is due to lack of education. Their parents cannot provide this education to their children. Consequently, they were forced to find a blue collar jobs and they got married at the early age. Since they were revolving in one place without any other means of leisure and meeting other people, they tend to marry some of our 3rd or 4th degree cousins. Isn’t an outcast attitude?

In order to stop, my clan’s need proper education so they could have sensible and stable job. If I could only help all of them, if I could just have enough money to provide them education and their daily needs. I am willing to extend my help. I know that my salary is just enough to needs of my family. So for now, what could I help them is simply pray for them that God will give them enough strength, love and wisdom. In this manner, they could still perform their functions and survive for the family.

Plants versus Zombies

After my work, I waited for my husband to send a message that he will be out from his work. While waiting, I played Plant versus Zombies. This is a new game in which some teachers were dying and eager to play. And of course, I am one of them. The game is absolutely awesome. You need to have strategy, knows how to budget, hand and eye coordination, creativity, determination and wise decision.

I am so engrossed in playing without noticing my phone. I wasn’t able to recognize that my husband already called me up. So, when I consciously looked at my phone and hurriedly click the exit signs.

Then my husband wore a frowned face. He asked me in a mad voice “What took you so long?” I called several times yet you haven’t answered it”. I just simply answered “I’m sorry, I didn’t know that you called for I played”.

Then, we went home together without talking.

Mapeh Org is born

MAPEH stands for Music, Art, Physical Education and Health. Is one of the subjects here in the Philippines. This is also the subject that I am teaching in University of Cebu. Ever since I am in love in blogging. I made to realize to make a website for my students. This is an outlet/ extension of the topics that we had discussed. The summarized topics, challenging activities and outlet of expressing student’s point of view of certain concepts are the main purpose of creating this website.

I am so happy with the positive response of my students. I appreciate that the time that they were spending in playing online game was now divided. Doing their assignment and project online and playing/ chatting/ facebooking online at the same time.

I made some daily deals to them. Every time they will participate in the class, they will receive corresponding points. Moreover, other way to have points is to visit our website and they have to leave comments. This is the reason that www.mapeh.org was born.

Know More Be More!

January 30 of this year was the scheduled of our one day seminar at CAP, Cebu City. This seminar was mandated by the Deped in cooperation with Kotex. The seminar really went out well. I wasn’t expected that the outcome of it was fruitful and useful. I was fruitful and useful for there were lots of things which I really cherished.

Here are the insights that I gained from the seminar.

1. Kotex is the first sanitary pad which was used by men.. ( What do you think? How does a men uses this sanitary pad? Is it the same how the women use it.? Well men, uses the sanitary pad during the World War II and Kotex obsorbs the blood faster compared to an ordinary napkin.

2. If there is such a word as “I.Q and E. Q; there is also a word Body IQ, is the ability of an individual to understand how the body works and how this affects one’s life.

3. The ” YES and AND strategy.

I will be posting more about this next time. I really felt exhausted already due to school activities and home activities.

Dream Things

Ever since I was a kid, my first dream is to have a car then followed by a house and lot. Now that I am married, it was change to house and lot then followed by a car. As I grow older, there are lots of things here on earth we want to have. These are appliances, kitchenware, furniture, and home decors. Having all of these dreams is not easy to achieve by just relying on your salary. Commonly, people like me with big dreams oftentimes cling on rv financing. In this way, I can have all the dream things that I want by just a matter of days.

Of course, I have all the knowledge that once my application is approved, I should be responsible enough to pay the monthly amortization to avoid inconveniences.
