
I am one of those people who are experiencing difficulties in sleeping at night. Insomnia is one the most common symptoms of sleeping disorder define by persistent difficulty falling asleep despite the opportunity. There are three types of insomnia, the Transient Insomnia, Acute Insomnia, and the Chronic Insomnia. Transient insomnia lasts from days to weeks. It can caused by another disorder, by changes in the sleep environment, by the timing of sleep, severe depression, or by stress. Like mine, I can hardly sleep for days if I have family problems. Acute insomnia is the inability to consistently sleep well for a period of between 3 to 6 months. This is more dangerous than the first one. I have a classmate who can’t sleep almost every night. I can see the black eye bag of hers that is so ugly to look at. While the Chronic insomnia lasts for years at a time. It can be caused by another disorder like the first type of insomnia, or it can be a primary disorder. People with this kind of diesease often show increased alertness. Some people that lives with this disorder can see things moving and even hallucinating things.
Tips to get rid of this disease:
(base on my experience)
-don’t drink too much coffee
-illegal drugs should be avoided. It can’t help in any way
-alcohol are not the solution for sleep.
-you have to be discipline in sleeping schedule. make sure you sleep 7-8 hours
-be comfortable in your bed
-read books before sleep
-drink milk
