FACEBOOK – FARM TOWN ADDICT!

I had heard from my godmother that she’s addicted to farm town so I was curious on what was it all about. To join the the said game, you must have an account in facebook. Since I am not a member yet, I signed up on the said website. Facebook contains a lot of application. Aside from you able to connect your friend’s all over the world, it has a lot of games to choose from. One of the games which is played over millions of people across the globe is FARM TOWN. It is a game which you could design, grow and maintain your farm and even send gifts to your friends and share the fun with everyone.
I started playing the said game for over two weeks. A long that span of time, I had learned two different things. First is VALUES. These values are: initiative, thriftiness, friendship, courteousness, diligence, patience, creativity, responsible, obedience and perseverance.
Initiative. First, you have to read all the rules and help of the game so you will not be lost. Next, you have to be in the market, make friends and be hired. Once you earned from working to others, you must plow and plant. Potato will be a good start to plant.
Thriftiness. Some farmers who are mostly in level 5 or 6 bought fence or hay bale. Don’t spend too much for that. You plowed more and plant more. If you reach some higher level like 10 up and lots of money then you can buy some things you want.
Friendship. This is an interactive game. You can gained a lot of friends by chatting with them, visiting to their farm, becoming neighbors, knowing them personally. This is really fun.
Courteousness. Some farmers are rude. They didn’t say thank you for the work that you have given to them or vice versa. In my case, I usually chat with them after they hired me. This will be the start of friendship.
Diligence. Being hired is beneficial because you could earn coins, make friends and appreciate their farm. So,never leave the farm without finishing it. There are some farmers who will just gone right away leaving something behind. If you have difficulty in getting those crops because trees then better tell the owner what you are into rather than leave right away.
Patience. You have to wait until you get hired, as you worked in overlap crops, it took you time to plow and plant it;however at the end it is rewarding.
Creativity. One of the reason that I like to visit the farms of the others is to see their creativity. There are farmers who really spend time designing their farm. Re-designing it week after week. You also able to receive some complements from the visitors.
Responsible. I worked in the farm more than 12 hours a day. I even woke up at early dawn just to guard my crops that will not go to wasted.
Obedience.Once you are hired, some of the owner of the farms have some conditions like; don’t touch the trees, only the potatoes and so on. You must follow this, since they have some plan to give it to other farmers or their buddy, or perhaps for embellishments. You must respect it.
Self- Determination. You have the choice to level up or not,to use an overlapping or not, to make friends or just to compete.
The second lesson that I learned is TECHNIQUE. There are a lot of technique in different aspects in terms of gaining coins, friends, neighbors, gifts and level. Here’s how:
Coins
1. Work for others. You will receive 25% of the coins fetched by the crops you harvest.
2. If you want to be hired. Don’t beg. Never repeat the word like:please hire me; job
please. It is annoying.
3. If someone says hi/hello. Respond to them. It simply you recognize them.
4. Read the conversation in the chat box. Some one will ask question, then you have to
answer right away. Like; level, capital, place, age so on.
5. Tend/Visit your neighbors. You will get 15 coins plus 6 points to the progress/level.
6. The more crops you will plant, the more coins you will gain.
7. Hire somebody to harvest the crops. The price of the crops will increase instead of the
usual price. Like potato which is 90, if you hire somebody, the price will become 119.
Friends
Good conversation is the key to friendship. Don’t leave right away if you are done harvesting. If you are in the marketplace, be friendly. Add them as buddy. Once you are in the buddy list. You will be in top priority in hiring. You must do the same.
Neighbors
1. The more neighbors, more coins and points you will gain by tending/visiting them.
2. If you don’t have enough neighbors, click this word “NEIGHBOR”.Publish your name or email add.
3. You will also receive gifts from your neighbors. Of course, you must send them back.
Gifts
1. You can send gifts to your friends in the morning and afternoon. Bear in mind that
there is also limit in sending gifts since your neighbor requests are part of the daily
limit that you have for sending gifts e.g. if you send three neighbor requests you will
only be able to send 25 gifts for the day instead of 28.
2. Lots of gifts, the merrier. Want to know how to send lots of gifts? Click this word
“GIFTS”
Level
1. Each plowed field cost you 20. it will be deducted to your coins but gives you 2 points
per which will be added to your level.
2. Once you buy something from the store like seeds, fence and haybale from the store.
These are the product which I will recommend you if you are still a neophyte. It will
add points to your level.
Since I am addicted to the game, I just wish that it would be best if it will be in reality.
As of now, let’s just have some fun!
However, FARM TOWN is been updating some applications. A lot of problems strikes, like no more overlapping. As of today! A lot of people who are complaining with regards to the LOST of coins, gifts, harvested crops. So farming as of this moment is not recommended. I better rest of a couple of days and wait until it is fix.

i have long had a facebook account but i tried farm town only yesterday when i was so darn bored, i dunno but it does not seem to pull me into its trap yet…
thanks for the visit sheng. You have to spend enough time to appreciate it.
It sounds very interesting! It also teaches moral values to players and I think that’s a good thing. I haven’t received any invitation for that though, and I might not accept. If it is as addicting as you say, I might not be able to handle it. Pet Society is my current craze.
looks like a very educational game. i have a facebook account so i might as well try it.

Die Sichtweise der Dinge kann grundlegend immer geändert werden und so gute Ideen gehören einfach in den Blog.
Thank you! I would now go on this blog every day and check for updates!
You better begin by learning a little bit about WordPress (which is not difficult btw). I advise you to download XAMPP to have a local apache web server (www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html) where you can install wordpress (wordpress.org) and test it locally.. Then you have to chose a theme that suits your site, there are hundreds of free quality themes or if you can afford it, go for a premium theme (20$ to 150$ in general).. After you get familiar with wordpress, you can install it on your live server, put your theme, and begin importing (copy / paste ? yeah). You have to chose between putting your old articles as posts or as pages, posts are good if you plan a blog-like site. Ther’s also hundreds of free plugins for each single feature you may think about.. . Good luck!
