Blogging is one of the source of income now a days. It may or may not be stable as those who worked in the office but it may be the source of an upliftment to someone’s morale, finances, confidence and even to fame.

Blogging was introduced to my sister Pj, who happens to be a blogger since 2005. I was convince to blog for she’s earning. i would say that I am persistent person. I welcomes change especially the kind of field that I am into. I started using blogger as a flat form. Studying it by dealing with how to code. Then, it broaden my horizon. I doodles and codes using wordpress. That’s how the birth of buhatsatambay.com. This site is my holy ground!.

I used to work in Gillamac Inc. as system engineer. In the night time, I have sideline working as outsource programer. This sideline was given by my friend. I just earned as small as $20 for it will just depend on how much my friend will gave me. However, I didn’t complain because for me, “it’s just a start”. I can be better someday. I am a type of person who doesn’t look it as work that I must work for it for I will earned it. One must love it, learn it and you will reap it which is something that you can be happy. Last year, I resigned in Gillamac for I find haven working at home as a home-based web developer. Now, the company I am working with was based in the U.S. I would say that I am well- compensated. My salary was sent via paypal. Now, I have lots of time in our family, I even have time helping my wife organized her dance troupe for I also love dancing. Through this, me and my wife founded and manage dance group ‘”Upsurge Dance Cru”. I am also into designing. I made most of the t-shirt designs worn by our dancers. This is how I excelled in my field.

One of the reasons, of such success in my field as side from learning it through internet was joining an event that caters the needs of writers, web developers, businessmen, and even educators. These event such as Cebu Blog Camp and World’s Blogging Day are great time and chance to meet other people in the field of social networking. Learning from their experience, learning what hip and what’s not. As we can see, learning is an never ending process.

It’s been awhile since the last time I blog. I been busy preparing for the dance contest called ” Juicy Inter – School Dance Competition”. It was held last September 25, 2011 at Emall Activity Center. Our high school students was one of the finalists of the said event.

During the solidarity time, where all the participant meet, I was so nervous for our competitors are very tough. They had huge backdrop, lots of props, their costume are awesome. Our student wore a very simple violet dance club t -shirt and gray pedal harlem. As the competition started, I instructed them to change. It was totally transformed. The girls wore red dance club t -shirt with black inner spaghetti shirt, black baggy harlem and red arm warmer while the boys wore black DC shirt, black baggy harlem, red cap and red arm warmer.

From the start of the dance, they wore gray sweat shirt except Jubert, for he wore red. At the beginning of their dance, students were shouting. In every transition of the music, they still shout. Their shouting and yelling helps the dancers boosts their confidence and level up their energy as they perform.

As the result were announced, I couldn’t breath. As it was finally announced, ” The GRAND CHAMPION of JUICY DANCE COMPETITION (CEBU)……

UNIVERSITY OF CEBU!. As it announced as UNIVERSITY, (for we are the only university who joined the said competition) I prayed to the LORD and give HIM thanks!

I started liking it when I first own my canon camera. It was loaded with film. Though, it has automatic rewind but needs to be develop before you can see all your craft. Last September 14,2010, we brought DSLR Canon 1000D. Since then, I could not resist every time I hold her. Every click of the shutter means a lot to me. I could not afford to loose it. I plan to make a photo blog and hopefully it will be realize.

No one here on earth doesn’t wants to have very abode to be called like home. Ever since I was a child, I always want to have my bathroom clean as much as possible. Next to that is my bedroom and third is the living room. This is the place where I spent most of my time during my assignments, activities, watching televisions and practicing a dance.

In our house, we only use wood for the floor and place a floor mat to make it more attractive and clean to look at. Now, there’s a little difference but instead of wood, it is now made of cement but still retaining the floor mat. If we are going to have our own house five to ten years from now, I wanted to my living room very cozy to stay with.

A large sofa, carpet, wooden wall with mirror, flowers, home decors are some of the essential things that I like to have in my dream living room. Although I know the fact that, having a carpet could be disastrous to some housewives especially if you don’t have cleaning materials. But if you have carpet cleaning raleigh, cleaning would not be a problem any more. Why don’t you grab your phone and call them now and inquire about their cleaning services.

One of the speakers we had during our in-service training in CAP theater last June 4 was Fr. Roderick Salazar. He was indeed excellent as he delivers his talk. He is very witty in explaining his topic and even gives lots of samples that could relate to our real life situation.

One of his examples goes this way…..

“A Spanish teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine. “House” for instance, is feminine: “la casa.” “Pencil,” however, is masculine: “el lapiz.”

A student asked, “What gender is ‘computer’?”

Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether “computer” should be a masculine or a feminine noun.

Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.

The men’s group decided that “computer” should definitely be of the feminine gender (“la computer”), because:
1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;

2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;

3. Even the smallest! mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval; and

4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.

(No chuckling… this gets better!)

The women’s group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine
(“el computer”), because:
1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;

2. They have a lot of data but still can’t think for themselves;

3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem; and

4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model.

The women won.”

(Source: http://forums.cnet.com/7723-6130_102-141866.html)

After hearing this, most of the teachers were laughing and that includes me. I said ” I must find that sample, I am sure that could be found in the internet. So, here it is…

I hope you learn something from it…

Beautiful things are difficult. This is one of the quotes I have heard when I attended one of the masses. Is someone wants to be beautiful, she may suffer in other way around. For instance, women loves to wear stilettos but wearing it for couple of minutes is disaster. However, you make look beautiful for it enhances the way you walk but at the end of the day, you will suffer.

Moreover, a friend of my friend who is a gay wanted to look a real woman. She underwent several sessions of surgery. One of the things she’s been through was hormone replacement therapy so that she will look like a real woman. Now, when you look at her from head to foot, you can never tell that she used to be a male. So, I realized those things that she has been through was worth it however, it cost her a bunch of money.

So, being beautiful is really difficult.

We went to Siquijor last March 30 – April 2 of this year. Our itinerary on day 2 was church and beach hopping. Most of us wore short pants, sleeveless, t shirt. In other words, we were ready to be in the beach that be in the church. We got in the church, even if we do not wear proper dress. Until we arrived at the San Juan Parish Church, as we about to got in, there was a poster saying recommended “parish clothing“. So the group decided not to got in. Instead, I just took pictures outside the church, rest for awhile and we enjoyed each others company as well as the beautiful scenery of Capilay Spring Park in Siquijor.

So, it is best to separate the church and beach hopping to avoid conflict in terms of dress coding.

At 7:20 a.m will be my flight bound for Bacolod. This is the most expensive flight I ever purchased. I blamed myself of not booking it a head of time. I only purchased it yesterday at 7:03p.m at Skyliner Emall. I payed 3, 650 peso for the air fare.

The reason also why I didn’t booked it earlier for I decided to do it in land trip using Ceres Bus Liner. I went to their garage area near at Taboan and asked for the bus schedule.

Here is the schedule CEBU to BACOLOD

Route

Toledo via Escalante = 5:15 am / 10:15 a.m/ 3:00 p.m

Toledo via Don Salvador = 4:30 am/ 9:45 am.

Toledo Via Canlaon = 5:30 a.m

Tabuelan via Escalante = 5:00 am/ 7:30 p.m

Bato Barili via Mabinay- Kabangkalan. = 1:45 a.m/ 6:30 a.m.

You can call their office at 032- 345-86-50. Rates will depend on the route and type of bus. You will also pay 200 hundred peso for the barge fee.

As I inquire to friendly staff of Ceres Bus, They recommended to me to take Tabuelan via Escalante because I wanted to be at the Bacolod before 8 a.m. The seminar that I will be attending will start at 8:00 am. According to them, the travel time will run approximately 9 hours. I know that can be stressful and I maybe exhausted. This will be boring most especially I will be traveling alone.

I was really confused what to do. Good thing that my husband, suggested me to take the airplane. He will just provide me the meals and accommodation for the said seminar. I really thank God for giving me a very understanding and generous husband.

I am one of the fanatics and dreamer of Great Wall. Ever since I was a teenager, I am wishing to visit that place on of these days. In God time, I know this maybe possible or maybe not.

Well, I would like to share to you a little about this place. I learned this when I am reading about Asian Architecture particularly in China. This topic is one of the lessons that we had. Upon reading through books and internet, I learned that Great Wall was made by Shi Huangdi. During that time building the wall was purely rammed earth,stone and wood. No wonder that there are some portions of the wall doesn’t last long. When Ming Dynasty ruled, he uses bricks. As the result, it is more lasting compared to the old medium. If the engineers that time discovered the use of steel as they build that huge skyscraper, rebuilding it may be minimal.

Now a days, steel building is common in constructing infrastructures. It is economical and practical. Economical for you will not keep on rebuilding due to materials constraints. Practical for climate change is accelerating. You cannot predict what will happen. Everything and anything may happen beyond your control.
